We are excited to announce that we have found a temporary venue to dance while the Turnervein is being restored!

We will dance Sunday September 20th until further notice at CLEMENTS COMMNUNITY CENTER: 1580 YARROW ST., LAKEWOOD,CO. 80214

 

Enjoy a beautiful wood floor in the Lakewood Room, and there is abundant free parking at this location.

NO BYOB - NO LIQUOR. Bring your water bottle or use the facility's water fountain.

*Please note that all times are one hour later than we danced previously.

Dancers, please check in and register for evening classes from 6:00–6:15 PM to avoid waiting.

No partner required for lessons or social dancing.

RMSDC's weekly dance is $10. Cash appreciated. All lessons are an additional $5.

Volunteer Opportunities. Email us at rockymountainswingdance@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering. 
Check-In Team – Team members get free admission on their assigned night. Volunteers usually work from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Close-Up Team - Team members get free admission on their assigned night. After each dance one or two team members make sure everyone is out of the building and that it is properly secured. There is a rotating assignment based on when team members can help.
RMSDC Board  - We are currently seeking applicants for our Board of Directors.  Board members are required to attend a once-a-month board meeting via Zoom. Board members help make important decisions to guide the organization and may also take on various duties such as scheduling instructors, DJs, and volunteers, planning special events, and more.
